The latest addition to our fleet is Tropicana Ultimate, which is now available for hire.
Touring the Cairns region in a motorhome allows you to really spend time in the many places you will want to visit while you are in Far North Queensland, like the Daintree Rainforest, Palm Cove, Port Douglas, Kuranda and the magnificent Atherton Tablelands.
While all of these places are within a couple of hours of Cairns it can become tiring driving to each attraction every day and just spending the day and having to drive back to your hotel each night. With a motorhome you can drive to the Daintree, stay one or two nights and have time to really experience this breathtaking area. There are caravan park sites which are literally next to the forest so you can grab your coffee in the morning and wander into the forest to start your day!
Built on a 2021 Iveco truck base with a 3 litre turbo diesel motor coupled to a fully automatic 8 speed gearbox there’s power on tap and you will be driving down the road in effortless comfort, with cruise control, power steering, power windows and cruise control. Please note that you will need a Light Rigid Truck licence to drive Tropicana.
Tropicana Ultimate is a truly magnificent motorhome with all the modern conveniences that you could wish for including a separate shower and bathroom arrangement for complete flexibility.
A huge club lounge at the rear of Tropicana Ultimate has room for all the family to socialise and has a large screen TV to keep you occupied on rainy days.
A large dinette opposite the kitchen will be perfect for meal times or if you want to play cards or board games, or work on the computer, if you must! There is a 2000 watt inverter on board so you cab have 240 volts to power your computer or other appliances even if you are free camping and not plugged in to power.
Fully equipped with two house batteries, solar panels and 3 way charging system you can have power on the go, wherever you go!
With six seatbelts and sleeping berths, the whole family can go on your big adventure in style. There’s a beautiful kitchen with a gas stove and oven so you can cook your own meals if you don’t feel like eating out. A large 2 door fridge with separate fridge and freezer will keep all the drinks cold and you will have plenty of food on hand if you get hungry.
Inside are all the niceties of life, such as a coffee maker, cooling fans, all your pots and pans, linen, cutlery and anything else you may need on your trip. There’s even a diesel heater in case it gets cool overnight in the Tablelands.
There’s a 240 volt reverse cycle air conditioner to keep you comfortable in any weather. Outside there’s a wind out awning to give you shade on sunny days and is also handy on rainy days to create a dry area outside. With plenty of external storage you have room for all of the items you will want to take, plus there’s a 2 bike rack on the back if you want to bring some bikes.
Tropicana Ultimate really is the ultimate luxury motorhome and can be booked for a minimum of 7 days at a cost of $500 per day.
